CNC Machinist-Multiple Shifts-Direct Hire! Contract To Hire

PrideNow is hiring 1st and 2nd shift CNC Machinists! This is a contract to hire placement with one of our aerospace clients in Dearborn Heights, MI 48125. 

Pay Rate: $20 + an hour based on experience

Shifts: 5:00am-3:30pm or 3:30pm-2:00am with weekend flexibility as needed

Job description:
•    Experienced operating a Citizen, Mori Seiki, Doosan, Hardinge, or other CNC lathes & mills
•    Ability to read blueprints
•    Capable of making offsets to ensure parts meet print specifications
•    Capable of set-up & operate a variety of CNC equipment
•    Capable of using various types of measuring/inspection equipment. (calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators)
•    Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions,  irregularities, and continuing needs
•    Loads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position
•    Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
•    Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.

Requirements:

• 2-3+ years of CNC experience is preferred with working knowledge of Doosan and Fanuc Controls
• Aerospace experience is a plus
